Explore Rogalands most distant farm under safe and guided conditions, on our 2 day kayak/camping trip! This tour starts and ends in Stavanger, outside the touristinformation. Our guides will pick you up in Stavanger and bring you to the start point Øvre Trodla Tysdal lake in Årdal, ca 1 hour travel from Stavanger. We will tell you local stories while we paddle along little bays and islands.
This nice kayaktour, combines camping on a beach in tents, or our big Lavo/tipi,camp fire, fishing for Trout in the lake, listen to nature or all the birds singing and a just relaxing time on the beach in the wildest nature in Rogaland.
We will also provide you with a high quality dinner for you in the evening day 1

You won't paddle alone on the lake, so you can also do this trip with less kayak experience! You may paddle in more stable double sea kayaks, instead of a single kayak. Our guide will be on your side during the complete trip.
If you are a more experienced paddler, you will get a single sea kayak from us for the trip.
Due to organisation, we need min. 3 people before we start the trip!
- 2 day trip in Trodla-Tysdal day one in kayak
- Day two, guided hike 5-6 hours over the mountain back to Årdal.
- All transport, bus, ferry++
- 1-2 experienced outdoor guides
- single -/ or double sea kayak
- All kayak equipment such as life jacket, paddle, wetsuit...
- tents or one big Lavuu/Tipi, air matrasses, isolation matrass
- (you have to bring your own sleeping bag!)
- local high quality dinner on the beach with dessert
- water, local apple juice
- norwegian outdoor breakfast with coffee/tea

A. Lysefjord Fish soup
Fish soup made with fresh catched fish from the Lysefjord.
Combined with beach crabs, small shrimps, wild garlic, alges from the fjord, local salmon and seasonal local fresh vegetables
All cooked on camp fire.
Its amazing to use the nature like this, and we love to show it to you. Enjoy!
B. Lysefjord vegetable and meat soup
A lot of local in seasonal vegetables, wild herbs, and lamb meat will be some of the ingredients in this soup.
We serve this soup with Norwegian flat bread and butter.
Dessert is Norwegian berry, heated on open fire, with cream and coffee, enjoy!
