Kayak & taste the fjord 

This is a full day tour, with dinner made in the nature included!

The tour will last from 5-6 hours depending on fish luck, and weather.

On this full day tour, we will paddle from Jørpeland, and into the fjord.

You will get a basic kayak, safety brief before start.

We will start in our local foodstore, and bookingstation at Jørpeland.

Here will we pick out some local product to drink, and we will also pick up some local ingrediens for the meal we need. We will tell you about it all!

We will go kayaking in nice calm areas with a lot of Islands, and sealife.

We will try to catch some of the ingrediens to our soup on or way!

You will get fish equipment to use from the kayak( we need fish to our soup)

Our guide will tell about local history and nature facts, you will also learn about what you can eat in our shoreline.

Dinner included! 

We will make dinner for you at one of the nice beaches in the fjord.
We will serve you high quality fish soup, with local fish, made on open fire on open fire, soda/water/juice and coffe included! We pick up some of the ingrediens for the soup on our way in the fjord!
And of course, after the soup, local prodused Lefse, sweet norwegian flatbread!

Level of difficulty Easy!
No prior kayak experience needed! Simple paddle techniques and safety instructions will be given by our guide. Suitable for people of most ages!
(Except of children under 8rs)

You will usually paddle in double sea kayaks, which are really stable on the water. More experienced paddlers can get a single kayak from us.

You need your own personal travel assurance for joining all our tours.

DURATION Total 5-7hrs( a lot of fishing and catch of seafood included)
(appr. 2,5-3,5 h on the water, tour distance 5-15km depending on the group speed.
